Overview:
The Marketing Specialist will spearhead the firm’s marketing initiatives driving business growth through strategic referral network development and targeted campaign execution. They will analyze data, optimize lead generation strategies, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to achieve measurable results and enhance community engagement.
The Marketing Specialist is a Non-Exempt position.
Non-attorney support staff are prohibited from practicing law by the ABA’s Rules of Professional Conduct and State Bar Association rules. All work done by the Marketing Specialist must be in the support of and under the direct supervision of an attorney. In dealing with clients and potential clients, the Marketing Specialist must be careful not to inadvertently slip into an unlawful practice of law. This would include answering client questions about what will happen in their case or recommending that a client undertake a certain course of action during their case.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development with network referrals.
- Engage, create, and foster referral relationships with members of the local business community.
- Attend networking events to build relationships with potential clients, referral partners, and community stakeholders.
- Create networking events to include the engagement of the Team 100 List and events and Connector Lunches.
- Create and manage a comprehensive marketing calendar.
- Develop strategic marketing candidate outlining the scope and milestones of the campaign.
- Coordinate with other members of the marketing team to ensure alignment of marketing efforts.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns to promote services, utilizing various channels, media, and events.
- Identify where the ideal client spends time and create a targeted message and marketing campaign towards them.
- Track and analyze marketing methods to measure effectiveness of campaigns.
- Track and report ROI for each marketing campaign.
- Identify trends to refocus marketing campaigns and maximize ROI for marketing campaigns.
- Improve lead generation strategies to increase the number of qualified leads.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team members to identify marketing sources to better number of qualified leads.
- Test and improve lead generation tactics to optimize conversion rates and lead quality.
- Create marketing and campaign budgets to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
- Budget analysis by marketing campaign to track marketing spend and ROI.
- Manage firm’s Client Relationship Management program.
- Create and maintain all email campaigns for pre-consultation, post-consultation, and post-retaining with leads and clients.
- Develop annual schedule for master mailing and communication with all contacts in email database to maintain firm awareness and return engagement.
- Work with vendors to ensure collaboration and integration of CRM system into vendor systems.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Compile marketing data to create comprehensive reports tracking KPI’s, campaign/ source performance, and community engagement metrics.
- Present to the owner KPI’s and analysis with recommendations for improvement.
- Select and manage relationships with marketing vendors,
- Evaluate marketing vendors for utilization and management of marketing campaigns.
- Define clear expectations for performance by marketing vendors, meet with them, and herd them too it.
- Collaborate with marketing vendors to develop and refine marketing campaign strategies, assets, and messaging.
- Monitor vendor performance and campaign effectively, providing guidance and feedback to optimize results.
- Identify and develop marketing strategies to enter new areas for expansion of firm business.
- Revise market analysis of expanding geographic footprint/ reach of the firm to maximize immediate return on expansion opportunities.
- Perform other marketing duties as necessary to increase the number of leads and percentage of qualified leads.
- Remain flexible and adaptable changing community dynamics, business priorities, and marketing conditions.
- Stay abreast of marketing trends, best practices, and innovations incorporating into marketing strategies.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on community engagement, referral network marketing, and campaign execution.
- Proven track record of driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives and lead generation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in managing relationships with marketing vendors and partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software.
Compensation
$25/hr + opportunities for bonus compensation based on performance. Participation in Health Insurance Program and 401k. Additional educational opportunities.
